  14. The ODF team is working on a set of classes and tools to convert MacApp 
  15. and PowerPlant views to ODF. You will see those hopefully by ODF Release 
  16. 2. You won't be able to convert everything but you will be able at least 
  17. to convert all the standard views. What's more interesting is that you 
  18. will be able to use AddLib or Constructor with ODF. But you will have to 
  19. use some sort of conversion tool. AppMaker on the other end is available 
  20. today and works we native ODF view resources.

  23. Having a bridge between MacApp and ODF is very important for us. As we 
  24. said at the WWDC we are looking at integrating some of the ODF technology 
  25. into MacApp so we could share more code. But, MacApp and ODF are very 
  26. different. Moving too fast will mean breaking a lot of people code. We 
  27. don't want to do that. Developing tools and classes to ease the 
  28. transition is one of our first step.
